What is SatsList?
SatsList is a Bitcoin-only classifieds marketplace. Sellers post listings, buyers contact them directly, and all payments happen peer-to-peer over the Lightning Network.
How do payments work?
SatsList never touches your money. When you find something you want to buy, you agree on a price with the seller and send sats directly to their Lightning Address. No escrow, no custody — pure peer-to-peer.
What is a Lightning Address?
A Lightning Address looks like an email address (e.g. you@walletofsatoshi.com) but routes Bitcoin payments over the Lightning Network. You can get one free from wallets like Wallet of Satoshi, Strike, or Alby.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email address and we'll send you a magic sign-in link — no password needed. Click the link and you're in.
How do I create a listing?
Sign in, go to your profile, and click "New Listing." Add photos, a title, description, price in USD, and your Lightning Address so buyers can pay you. Prices are shown in both USD and sats using the current exchange rate.
Are transactions safe?
Because payments are peer-to-peer, SatsList itself cannot hold or lose your funds. As with any classifieds platform, use good judgment: check a seller's rating, ask questions before paying, and prefer local meetups for high-value items.
What if something goes wrong?
SatsList is a non-custodial marketplace — we never hold funds. For high-value trades, some users choose to use third-party Bitcoin escrow services such as Bitrated (bitrated.com). Please note that SatsList has no affiliation with Bitrated or any escrow provider and cannot vouch for their service. Use any third-party service at your own discretion.
